Let's Play it Again Dum-De-Dum-Dum

It is Saturday night and time again for "Play It Again PI Sam Saturday".  Here is a post from January 19 that followed last weeks "Play it Again PI Sam Saturday" post, "Just the Facts".

Anyone familiar with Dragnet will recognize the above.  Yesterday I quoted Sgt. Joe Friday  the lead character on the show played by Jack Webb.  The show first aired on radio in 1949.  In 1952 it debuted on TV and then in 1987 a film version was made starring Dan Aykroyd as the legendary sergeant.  Like "play it again Sam", the famous quote of "just the facts ma'am" was never uttered. on the show.  What was said was, "All we want are the facts, ma'am".   That is just as good for all of us private investigators, as that is ALL we want -  THE FACTS.  For those of you who never saw Dragnet here is a taste.
