More Badge of Honor

I hope you enjoyed my review of "Badge of Honor", and I hope that you will read the book.  If you do read the book I would be happy to hear your opinions on the book.  Today I would like to share with you some of my favorite quotes that Police Officer Walter L. Harris Jr. used in his book, I thought he chose some outstanding quotes.  Here are a few for you to ponder:

1)  Here is a good one for all you PIs and detectives and it is from one of my favorite philosophers Yogi Berra.  Yup, Yogi Berra. I know we all laugh at what he says, but often there is something profound in what he says as is the case here:  "You can observe a lot just by watching"

2)  "We're all born brave, trusting and greedy, and most of us remain greedy." -  Mignon McLaughlin

3)  "It's not the load that breaks you down; it's the way you carry it." - Lena Horne

4)  "Don't compromise yourself, you're all you've got." - Janis Joplin
